Taylor Lynn Kleis

Congrats Tracy & Kevin! She's adorable! I can't wait to see her again!

Last Flight

How bittersweet at 34,000 feet! These are photos from John's last trip with Comair. He was eager to move on, but it's always hard to say goodbye to the ol' comfort zone. Can you believe it's been five years employed at Comair? Man, those flight benefits are addicting!

GOTTA LOVE SNOW DAYS!

Caroline & Emma
John, Landon & Cameron

Landon, Cameron, Emma & Caroline

Well, snow days have been plentiful in Henry County this year. The kids love it! John too! Caroline and Emma had a massive crash with a tree so they're not so crazy about sledding at Nana's. They would rather be inside, be warm and play "pet shop". The boys of course are pretty fearless, they know when to bail. They were trying to stand on their sleds and "snowboard" down the hill. John, Cameron and Landon were having races. I stayed in for the most part and watched from the kitchen window.

Cheesecake Factory

Katie, Leslie, Melanie and Trendy it was so nice to see you girls! I love talking to you guys, we have some great conversations! I miss the Merrick days! We had no worries, no real responsibilities and lived for rain on the patio so we could head over to Banana's for some karaoke. Those were the days! Leslie, plan the trip and I'm in!

Loved seeing everyone!

Several of us gals joined together for Ellen and Meredith's baby shower. Afterwards some ventured home and some stayed the night. We were planning on going out to dinner, we opted on staying in and ordering pizza. Oh, how times have changed! We all jumped in our PJs around 7 o'clock and stuffed our faces in comfy clothes. The real party started when Maggie whipped out the Nintendo Wii. We boxed, bowled and played a few matches of tennis. Casey spanked everyone at boxing(except jeff). It's so comforting to be with real friends.

Punta Cana Momma!

Love Palm Trees!
Guess all that studying paid off! Congrats Beez!
We made so many friends in Punta Cana! This group is from Quebec, Toronto, France and Texas! We had a blast together!

Hola Juan!

So Busy!

Well, we did go to Punta Cana! What a wonderful, much needed vacation. We met so many nice people. The weather was great for the most part. I will post some pics when I get a chance.

The day after we got back I went to Lexington with long time friend Casey to party with the "Preggers." Maggie, Kate and Carrie had shower for Ellen and Meredith. There were several of us there, including Nikki whom I never see. They got lots of stuff, and we had a blast catching up.

Did I mention JOHN GOT A NEW JOB! He interviewed on a Thursday with Spirit Airlines and was hired on Friday. He will begin training in Ft. Lauderdale on Feb. 25th. Yes, say your prayers for him! He has 6 weeks of training, 6 days a week. We are planning on moving to Ft. Lauderdale sometime this spring. Yes, that's the plan. This all has happened so fast! If anyone has any suggestions on specific areas to live, feel free to share! I will post lots of pics ASAP.

Let's Get Outta Here!

It's that time of year! Yes, we are leaving the cold and headed for Punta Cana, DR. We are supposed to leave early Saturday morning and come back next Friday. Note- I said supposed to. With our jobs and space available travel, nothing is set in stone. We do have reservations and this is a view of the resort. We are sooo ready for some sunshine and saltwater! I will post some photos of our vacation and let you know where we ended up. Hopefully Punta Cana!

We love NYC!

Carriage ride in in Central Park - It was pretty chilly!

How beautiful! The Christmas tree at Rockefeller's center. The city was so crowded and cold! We did a little shopping and a lot of coffee!

Happy New Year!

This is a pic of the ceiling at the comedy club we went to for New Years!

This was our second year in a row to celebrate the New Year in NYC with Nora and Richie and their pup, Rumba. This year Brad and Wendy came out too. We started the evening by stuffing our faces on a zillion appetizers that Nora made, and ended the night at a comedy club. We had too much fun! We definitely brought in the new year with lots of laughs! Happy New Year!

Christmas in Houston

We flew to Houston on Christmas Eve. We had a great time, other than John being sick. This was the second year in row that John was sick for the holidays. Anyway, we were thankful to be together for Christmas.

John's Favorite Christmas Gift

Here is a pic of John playing Xbox with our nephews. Did you happen to notice his bling dollar sign necklace? Yes, this was John's favorite Christmas gift! Emma purchased this for John at Santa's workshop. My sister suggested other gifts, but Emma had her mind set on this necklace. She just knew John would absolutely love it! She said, "I know John is going to say Thank you so much Emma!" It was so funny! Her eyes were sparkling when she handed John the little wrapped jewelry box. Cameron and Landon were giggling as they watched John open the gift, they're a little older so they knew he was going to be surprised. John's expressions were hilarious. He thanked Emma, hugged her, and wore the necklace for the rest of the day. Now every time Emma comes over she asks "Where is your necklace?" We hang it in a special place so we can always find it.

Christmas Party at the Whitford's

Here's a pic of some of my best buddies from college. The 3 on the left are all preggers! Everyone is having babies! We had a great time getting to see everyone. We enjoyed lots of tasty food, cocktails, and the karaoke machine. Thanks again Maggie and Jeff!

Thanksgiving

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We sure did! It was our first together! Can you believe it? After 4 years we finally had turkey dinner together. Hope all is well with everyone. Especially all you new moms and pregger people out there! Hope to post again soon.

Halloween-Old Man John!

John loves his "Old Man" costume. He scared my nephews so bad! He has convinced my nieces and nephews that there's a old man that lives in the woods behind my parents house. Cameron doesn't really buy it, but the younger three are a little scared to go in the woods w/o an adult. They've told other children in the neighborhood about the "old man". I think John enjoys it more than the kids!

EKU Homecoming

A few of us girls went to Maggie's for homecoming! It was so nice to see everyone! We had a great time. Poor Ellen and Meredith, you guys are real troopers! Thanks for having us Maggie! Love the house! Can't wait to see everyone again!

Woodford Reserve and Keeneland

The Palmer's and the Tingle's went down to Lexington for a day. Woodford Reserve Distillery for a tour/tasting and Keeneland for the horse races. Lucky to have our parents with us, not so lucky at the race track! It was a beautiful day! We are so lucky to have the parents we have!

Happy Birthday Beez!

Another year has flown by! John's favorite, chocolate cake with chocolate icing!

One Year Anniversary in Aruba 9.23.07

We are back to work after having a over two weeks off! It was great! We started our trip by going to Orlando for a night, Destin for three days, Aruba for a week, and ended in Houston for three days! We were ready to come home and just be home! We left Louisville on the 18th of September and returned on October 3rd. Visiting family and friends is great, but I'll have to say Aruba was the highlight of our vacation! We arrived in Aruba on our one year wedding anniversary! Crazy, it's been a year! We stayed at the Westin with a beautiful ocean view. We sat on the beach during the day and stuffed our faces at night! Isn't that the glory of vacation, do what you want-when you want to! Hope all is well with everyone!
