Look at uncle John!
Congrats Joe!

John's youngest brother Joe graduated from the University of Florida on August 11th. The whole family made a trip to Gainesville to celebrate! John and I had the pleasure of staying at Joe's apartment the night before graduation. It's funny how soon you forget about how we all lived in college. It made me miss it for a second, just a second though. It really made me feel kinda old. On Saturday we all went to graduation and out to dinner at a Japanese Hibachi grill.
Baby Anita has arrived!
Class of 97' meets again!
John and I just attended my 10 year class reunion! We had a great time! We had a pretty successful turn out! We missed you Casey & Mike! It was really nice to catch up with people I haven't seen in ages! John was a good sport. I would look around to check on him and he would be talking to someone I didn't even know. It was nice to introduce John to some old friends. Now he can finally put a face with a name. It's always comforting to hang out with old friends!
Happy 40th Anniversary!
Good food and great company!

John's great aunt and uncle came to Destin on the 5th to visit. They are so much fun! They taught us a new card game "Golf" it's a great time! I think I lost every hand! They also made a delicious dinner! We had homemade pesto with linguine, grilled hot Italian sausage and dump cake for desert. I think we both gained about 10lbs that week, it was worth it!
Party at the Palmer's on the 4th!

John and our niece Caroline got a little carried away with the cool whip! We had such a nice day! My oldest sister and her family were in Florida for the week so they came over to the Plamers for the 4th! John's mom got them bubble gum, gummy worms and fireworks so they were goood-to-go! John and I were so happy to spend a 4th with our families! I am so behind on the blogging, I'll catch up later!
Visiting John's family in Destin
John and I are both back to work after a nice visit at the Palmer's. How lucky am I to have my in laws in Destin,FL! Destin is a beautiful, fun place with lots of SHOPPING! We went to the beach, bike riding, and John helped his dad on their dock. It's been a work
in progress for a while! John's dad (handy Andy) can build just about anything. I find it quite amazing. As you can see in the picture they are working on the upper deck. The goal is to have it done by the the 4th of July. They have a gorgeous view of the bay! We hope to be down there on the 4th, but with our schedules I'm not counting on it!
I just got into Boston tonight and I don't leave until Saturday morning. An unusually long layover has worked to our advantage. John will be here tomorrow morning and we are going to do a little touring of Boston tomorrow. We both fly out Saturday morning. That's the latest in our life! Hope all is well with everyone!
Newest Addition to the Tingle family!
This is Lilly. My Mom rescued her from going to the pound! We've actually all grown very attached. This is her new squeaky toy John got her. It will not last a day! She chews more than any dog I've ever been around. Well with the exception of Bentley! Some of you know Bentley! He was a golden retriever that was a roommate in college. His philosophy was if he could reach it he could chew it. Those were the days! Trace sorry but it's true, she hasn't chewed the cell phone yet. Ha Ha!Sandals Whitehouse Jamaica
This was the main pool. We really didn't spend too much time here. The resort is divided into villas. There is the Italian, Dutch, and French. We were in the French villa. We had our own pool that was more convenient but not quite as big. All of the pools had swim up bars and great views! The Sandals Whitehouse is huge! The resort was at 84% capacity and felt like 50% . We didn't have to wait in lines, always empty chairs on the beach and by the pool, and the staff was very nice and accommodating.
Jamaica Mon!
We are back to work after an awesome trip to Jamaica! We arrived on April 22 for a 6 night stay at the Sandals Whitehouse All Inclusive resort. This was our first time to Jamaica, we had a great time! Two of John's friends and their girlfriends went as well. We went scuba diving, snorkeling, horse-back-riding in the Caribbean, and water skiing. This was our first time diving and horse-back-riding together. John is a natural, I'm a little more apprehensive. On our horse ride John's horse had 2 paces- slow and stop! It was hilarious, the guide had to give John a switch to make his horse go. They called John "Billy" short for Billy the kid. We laughed so hard! We actually rode the horses in the water. At some points you could feel your horse swimming, it was awesome! The diving was okay. The water was a little churned so visibility wasn't the greatest. We still saw some pretty cool fish, lobsters and coral. On our snorkel trip we got to hold an octopus! The weather was pretty nice, other than the afternoon thunderstorms everyday at 4 o'clock. We love the islands!
The most adventurous part of our vacation was the ride to and from the airport. We all loaded up in this 70's style turquoise van with curtains for an hour and a half ride to and from the resort. We were all sweating bullets, closing our eyes at the sound of the horn, and jamming to shaggy at the same time! Yes, you heard me correct, shaggy! They played shaggy everywhere, all the time. I was like, what happened to Bob Marley? It was pretty funny! We have tons of great memories from the trip. We hope to go back someday, but for right now there are too many other places we haven't been. Yeh Mon!

Just Playing Catch up!
Well I am going to try to add photo's and captions and get this blog up-to-date! The progress is a little behind but I'm working on it.
These are a few photo's from our cruise we went on last March. We had such an awesome time! The cruise sailed from San Juan, Puerto Rico to St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, Aruba, and back to San Juan. We went on a rainforest hike in Dominica, swimming with the turtles in Barbados, lots of shopping at the markets in St. Thomas, and beach hopped around Aruba. What a memorable vacation! We made some really great friends as well. Stephanie and John from Canada, we had such a blast.
